Our Private Gatherings offer thoughtful, supportive group experiences - from parent preparation classes to meaningful baby showers. Designed for small groups, these sessions bring people together in intentional ways during life’s most meaningful transitions.
Gather Affiliate Parent-Child Classes
We believe no one should have to parent alone. Our community parent-child classes ensure this important work expands beyond the Dundas area, reaching families across Ontario. We support and train facilitators to offer these classes in their own communities. Find a class near you.
Gather Parent-Child Classes
Our parent-child playgroups are created as beautiful spaces for you and your child to come, play and connect with other children and parents. These classes focus on creating a supportive community where parents can engage with their children in a respectful and enriching way.
We provide three different parent-child classes based on age and developmental needs:
Parent-Infant Classes for infants 2 months to 8 months old
Parent-Mover Classes for movers 8 months to 16 months old.
Parent-Toddler Classes for toddlers 16 months to 20 months old.
Parent Preparation Course
Our parent preparation course is carefully designed to help those families who are expecting a child or considering becoming pregnant. This half day course offers meaningful information about how to prepare for your baby after birth and delivery, how to create a home environment to support infant development and create secure attachment. This course recognizes the massive change that occurs when a baby enters into a new family and the huge shift that happens for the parents.
Parent-Child Class Facilitator Training
A 40-hour Certificate Course for Montessori educators, assistants, and administrators interested in running Montessori parent-child playgroups for children ages 2 months to 20 months and their caregivers.
